Renault Zoe Preview made its world debut today at the Paris Motor Show. The Zoe Preview is powered by a 80 hp electric motor that develops 222 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h comes in 8.1 seconds and top speed is 135 km/h. Power is sent to front wheels via Direct drive with reduces and forward/reverse inverter transmission.

The 4.1 metre concept car is a Clio-sized vehicle featuring Renault’s new brand identity, including the new front-end signature.

Range from a full battery is up to 160 km and the battery can be charged in 6-8 hours. However in case of emergency you can use the public fast charge point, and get a 60 km range in less than 10 minutes or 80% battery capacity in 30 minutes.

A production version of the ZOE concept will go on sale in 2012 and the car pictured here is about 90 percent ready, so there won’t be any dramatic changes when the car hits your local dealership.
