Renault Reveals Frendzy EV Concept
Renault has been slowly teasing us with a new EV concept using social media sites like Facebook. Now we get a proper look via a newly released YouTube video (we’ll be adding this soon).
At this point we don’t know much about the Renault Frendzy EV Concept, as it’s known, other than the meagre amount Renault has revealed, which is that it’s a “multi-faced friend / a car for work and family”. Quite. We can see that the car has a assymetrical appearance though, two doors on the drivers side and one sliding door on the passenger side, making it look half MPV, half van.
We’ll get to see the car in the metal, or whatever it’s made of, at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Rumour also has it that the platform could well be used for next generation Kangoo, which may also underpin the Dacia J92 Popster MPV we revealed recently. Given this vehicle would easily lend itself to being a van or MPV, or even both at the same time, that makes sense.
