New 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe Caught Testing — Spy Shots
Koren car maker Hyundai has been caught testing the replacement for its mid-sized SUV, the Santa Fe.
The Santa Fe tops Hyundai’s car range in Ireland and comes with two four cylinder diesels, a 2.0 with 150bhp and a 2.2 churning out 194bhp and 311lb/ft of torque. Other markets get a range of petrol engines however, ranging in size from a 2.4 to 3.7 litres.
We don’t know much about the new Santa Fe, other than it’s quite likely not to be called that — the SUV is the only car in the Hyundai range with a name rather than an ‘i’ and number based badge, so expect the new model to conform with a new ‘ix45′ moniker.
The car is expcted to debut at the end of this year go on sale in the Ireland early in 2012, priced from around 35,000 Euros.
