Mitsubishi i-MiEV at Paris Motor Show 2010

Mitsubishi Motors announces the European-spec version of the i-MiEV, the 100% electric car will make its debut next month at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

The i-MiEV is Mitsubishi’s 100% electric car with ultra-low running costs, Zero CO2 emissions and seating for four adults. i-MiEV is powered by a small electric motor with 47 kW (64 hp) and 180 Nm of torque, it has an estimated range of 150 km from a 6 hour charge and a top speed of 130 km/h.

The car has been engineered to have a NCAP crash test rating of 4 stars with active stability control (ASC) as well as side curtain airbags as standard on all models. Customers will be able to customise thier car with eco friendly accessories from mitsubishi such as biodegradable floor mats made from bamboo fibre.

i-MiEV will go on sale early 2011 with prices from around 30,000 Euros.
