Electric version of the SLS AMG is expected to go on sale in 2013. Powered by four electric motors, it has a combined power output of 526 horsepower, taking this electric supercar from 0-100 km/h in around four seconds.

Ex Formula One driver David Coulthard recently got a chance to test drive the SLS AMG E-Cell prototype in Norway. You can’t hear the engine sound much(like with the V8 powered version), but make sure you turn up the volume to hear what David thinks of this new electric supercar below.
