Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco made this car most famous after they used is to open the course of the Monaco Grand Prix in 1967.

The Lamborghini was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1967 as a concept.  It was a futuristic car with a wrap around windscreen, glass gull wing doors and was a four seater designed by Bertone of Italy, for Lamborghini. However Ferruccio owner of Lamborghini didn’t like it and the Marzal remained a one – off unit.

The Marzal made a second appearance at the 1996 Concours Italiano in Monterey, California in  honor of Carrozzeria Bertone, it has been housed at the Bertone Museum ever since.

The Bertone museum is being liquidated and RM auctions are selling six rare cars and one – off concept models designed by the Italian Bertone.

The Lancia Stratos – winner of so many world rally championships was also designed by Bertone.

The 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero Concept is also one of the cars in the collection going for Auction.

Both cars are said to make anywhere between €1 million to €1.8 million each, the sale will take place at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Como, Italy.
