KIA’s little Pop electric city car concept was suppose to make its debut today at the Paris Motor Show. Surprisingly the automaker did not have this tiny city car there, instead they showed press a 3D presentation of the car.

The car is still being built and it looks like it won’t make it to the Paris this year. Very likely KIA will show it in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Pop electric car is just 3 metres long, less than 1.5 metres high and has a wheelbase of 2.05 metres. It has room for three people, the rear seat is positioned at an offset angle facing out from the rear passenger side across the cabin to the driver-side A pillar.

Despite its small size, the car has a top speed of 140 km/h and a range of about 160 km from a full charge. It takes six hours to charge the 18 kWh lithium polymer gel battery from a standard European 230-volt outlet.

No details on acceleration, but the 67 hp electric motor with 190 Nm of torque should be enough for it.
