Ferrari launches Virtual Racing Academy
Ferrari has launched an online simulator for PCs developed in coordination with Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Giancarlo Fisichella. The development of the simulator took over 12,000 hours and is now available for download at a cost of €14.90 at ferrarivirtualacademy.com
The first course is the Fiorano circuit and players from around the world can compete against each other in Ferrari F10 Formula One race cars. Two more tracks(Mugello and Nürburgring) will be made available at €9.90.
Lap times are already up and the highest ranking virtual drivers will be rewarded with Ferrari products every week. At the end of the tournament, following the regulation of the competitions, the 5 drivers ranked as fastest will win a trip to Maranello, the heart of Ferrari. They will pass through the gates of Fiorano and take part in the exclusive Ferrari Driver Academy course, personally aided by the exceptional tutors of the Racing Department.
