French company Exagon Motors has unveiled a new electric supercar called Furtive e-GT, that will make its public debut later this week at the Paris Motor Show.

The Furtive e-GT is developed together with Siemens, Saft and Michelin. Power comes from two 170 hp electric motors, with a combined output of 340 hp, enabling this 2+2 sports car accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds all the way to a top speed of 250 km/h.

Like the Chevrolet Volt, the e-GT is a range-extended hybrid, just with a longer range. In EV mode it has a range of 400 km, and together with the on-board generator is has a range up to 800 km.

The production is planned to start in late 2012.
