The new Bugatti Veyron Super Sport packs an amazing 1,200 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque. The Super Sport is a further development of the 1,001 hp Bugatti Veyron 16.4, launched in 2005.

With the Veyron Super Sport, Bugatti test driver Pierre Henri Raphanel has set a new land speed record for production cars on Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessian high-speed oval track. This ultimate Veyron achieved an average top speed of 431 km/h.

Production of the Super Sport will begin this autumn, and first five cars will be finished in a special black exposed carbon and orange.
