If you happen to be in London within the next few weeks head over to Harrods department store, where Aston Martin is displaying the production ready Cygnet.

Based on the Toyota iQ, this luxury city car is designed to set a new benchmark for compact luxury. Don’t expect a V8 or V10 in this little Aston. The power will most likely come from a 1.33-litre petrol engine with 97 hp and 123 Nm of torque found in the iQ.

The Cygnet is on display in a ground-level window until December 11, the car is already on sale through Aston Martin’s European dealership network with production set to start in early 2011.
