2012 Kia Picanto spied testing near the Nürburgring

Earlier today we brought you spy photos of the upcoming Lamborghini Jota supercar from the extreme Nürburgring. This time we have something less exciting from the city of Nürburgring – the new 2012 Kia Picanto.

New Picanto looks sportier than the current generation model, with its wide headlamps and a more aggressive front end. Developed by KIA’s European team in Russelsheim, Germany, the new Picanto shares its platform with Hyundai i10 and will be offered in 3 and 5-door configurations.

Under the hood will be the same 1.2-litre petrol engine with 77 bhp powering Hyundai i10. World debut is very likely at the Geneva Motor Show next March.
